We have a new student teacher here at Twin Bridges Schools. and she has provided us with an introductory letter to be shared. Help us welcome her into the schools as well as the community.

To Parents, Guardians, and Families: 

Hello! My name is Katy Long, and I am student teaching with Ms. Meier and Mr. Dawson this spring. Grade and subject wise, I am observing and working with seniors in Government, English, and AP English; juniors in AP English; sophomores in World History and English; and seventh graders in Geography. I have spent the past two weeks observing and getting to know the students, and am excited to start working more directly with them in the near future. I am confident I will learn just as much from them as they will from me.  

I grew up on a farm/ranch in north central Montana. I attended preschool through grade 12 at Highwood Public Schools in Highwood, Montana. I am very excited to be working and living in a small community once again. At the conclusion of this semester, I will graduate from the University of Montana in Missoula, where I have studied English and History with a concentration in Secondary Education.

I am excited to work with and support the Twin Bridges students as they complete this spring semester.
