For students who plan to attend college or career/trade school between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) processes and system will be open starting December 31, 2023. We suggest creating your FAFSA ID well before the opening date as it is likely the system will be overloaded on December 31st.
Updates to the 2024–25 FAFSA® Experience
