Dear Alumni,
In the best interest of our members, the Alumni Banquet scheduled for July 25, 2020 has been canceled due to COVID-19. Scholarships will remain in place as stated in the Alumni letter, so please continue to support those. If you have already paid for dinner, it will be honored at next year's banquet, or you can request a refund by contacting Marti Elford. Stay healthy, and we look forward to seeing everyone next year.
Sincerely,
The Alumni Committee
Twin Bridges Graduation Ceremony Information
Class of 2020
Dear seniors, parents, and guardians,
We are happy to share the following information regarding the 2020 High School Graduation Ceremony. We will be holding an in-person graduation ceremony for the class of 2020. The ceremony will be held in the Twin Bridges Main Gym on May 24, 2020, at 2:00 pm.
On Graduation Day, only parents and siblings will be able to attend graduation (not to exceed eight (8) immediate, in-state, family members). Programs will be placed in the bleachers marking available, socially distanced seating. Please proceed to seats in an efficient fashion and do not congregate in front of the building, in the foyer, or on the gym floor. Doors are scheduled to be open at 1:45 p.m.
We would like to remind you that the ceremony will be presented live via video on the Twin Bridges Schools Facebook page for individuals who are unable to attend. https://www.facebook.com/Twin-Bridges-School-District-7-104201374557039/
After the recessional, the graduating seniors will parade through town on the Twin Bridges fire trucks. The parade route will begin at the main gym, and go down and up Main Street.
Thank you for your cooperation as we come together to honor the class of 2020.
Regards,
Thad Kaiser, Superintendent
Seniors and 8th graders get a free sign available at the school. They measure 11 * 15. Yard stakes are included. Community members can get a sign with a free-will offering that will go to the Sunshine Fund (which goes to students in need).

The last few months have been unprecedented. We would like to thank you for taking on the unexpected role of being an active hands-on part of your child’s day-to-day education. We would like to thank all of our Staff for the time that they have put in to managing this abrupt change in education delivery and for being so acutely dedicated to the mission of providing Twin Bridges caliber instruction in light of the obstacles. Together you have met this challenge head on and shown an amazing ability to adapt.
On April 27, 2020, the Twin Bridges School Board of Trustees decided to continue distance learning for all students for the remainder of the school year. While recognizing the challenges distance learning has presented for staff and students and their families, the Board determined that continuing distance learning best protects the health and safety of staff and students and their families and advances students’ learning as the state of emergency in Montana due to COVID-19 continues. In addition to the continuation of distance learning, the Board adopted a host of policies designed to promote continued safe operation during the COVID-19 emergency. With that being said, the following plans will be in place for the elementary, middle school, and high school.
The last learning packet or online assignment will be delivered May 8th. The remaining two weeks of the quarter (May 18th-29th) will be spent completing all eight weeks worth of assignments; allowing students two weeks to get caught up and improve their grades.
Teachers will be available 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. the weeks of May 18, 2020 and 25, 2020 to answer any questions - communicating via the various technological methods we have been using.
All personal items from classrooms will be bagged and sent home by May 8th. Please return books, instruments and other school-owned items via the bus on May 8, 2020, or you can drop those items off at the school Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the last two weeks of May.
We will not be assigning new school work as of May 15, 2020. This will give students two weeks to get caught up and improve their grades.
Teachers will be available 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. the weeks of May 18, 2020 and May 25, 2020 to answer any questions - communicating via the various technological methods we have been using.
Mrs. Belice will also be available to discuss middle school and high school scheduling or just for checking in.
Students will complete their check out process by gathering their belongings from their school and gym lockers; they will return instruments, library books and textbooks: and, they will check out at the office according to the following checkout times.

We know this has been a challenging time, but we are in the home stretch of this school year. During this unprecedented time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your teacher(s), Mrs. Belice, or either of us if you want to discuss the specific details of your child’s learning during this time. We are dedicated to the success of each student in our school community and together, with your help, we can achieve that success.
Beyond the remainder of this calendar year, we know there are many other questions surrounding Graduation, the Pride Program, Drivers Education, and Next Year. Please know that while we are focused on finishing the rest of the school year, we are also focused on these things and more details will be soon forthcoming.
Sincerely,
Mr. Kaiser and Ms. Brown
The school board voted at the April 27, 2020 special board meeting to continue with distance learning for the remainder of this school year.
